Mrs. Girlie Dean Jones, daughter of the late Allen and Virgie Carter, was born December 12, 1941 in Isle of Wight County, Virginia.

She attended the public schools of Isle of Wight County. She was united in holy matrimony in Smithfield, VA to Cornelius Sylvester Jones, Sr. of Hampton, VA in September of 1960....
