About Us

Holley and Son's Funeral Home was founded in 1917 by Katherine Weston and William Scott Holley. The first funeral home was located in Gadsden, SC. Our founders created a Burial Aid and Monument Service, which afforded the opportunity to help our community by providing funeral services and monuments to families who may not have always had the financial means to provide the love and care for their loved ones that was so desperately needed at the time.
Second generation sons, William Holley and John P. Holley Sr. continued to serve our families with the same love, commitment and attention to detail as their parents. After the passing of the family's patriarch, Katherine Weston Holley, the family decided to close our Gadsden, SC location but continued to serve our families throughout an additional two generations, now providing exceptional service during our fourth generation of service under the leadership of our current President and Chief Operating Officer, Johnathan P. Holley. The legacy continues with our fourth generation now proudly serving families throughout the state of South Carolina.
