Obituary: Mrs. Charlotte G. Robin was born December 17, 1917 in Fort Motte (Orangeburg County) South Carolina. She was the forth child of eleven children born to the late Ben Green and Julia Pinckney Green. She departed this life on Saturday, February 17, 2018. She was educated at Lang Syne in Fort Motte, South Carolina. She was baptized at an early age and joined Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Fort Motte, South Carolina. She was on the Jubilee Choir until her illness. She enjoyed singing, shopping, and sharing stories with others. She resided in Durham, North Carolina for several years, after retirement she relocated to St. Matthews, South Carolina. Mrs. Robin was preceded in death by: her parents, Ben and Julia Pinckney Green; her husband, Joe Sellar Robin; and four brothers and six sisters. Mrs. Charlotte G. Robin leaves to mourn her passing: one son, Eddie Green; two children reared in Durham, North Carolina, Janice (Tina) Anderson and Harvey (Cut) Leathas; three sisters-in-law, Annie B. Green, Ruth R. Haigler, and Lillie Artis; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other loving relatives and caring friends, all of whom will miss her dearly. Services: Funeral services for Charlotte Robin will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 22, 2018 Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery (Ft. Motte). A visitation will be held Wednesday evening 5:00-8:00 p.m. at JP Holley Funeral Home Columbia Chapel
