Obituary: Woody Allen Goodwin, affectionately known as "Ballie Bean" was born December 15, 1968 in Eastover, South Carolina. He was the son of Woodrow Goodwin and the late Frances P. Caldwell. He departed this life on Saturday, May 5, 2018. He was educated in the public schools of Richland County, South Carolina, graduating from Lower Richland High School, Class of 1987. He was a jack of all trades specializing in maintenance, lawn care, sprinklers systems, and auto mechanics. He was employed as manager of maintenance for: Oak Grove, Lexington Village, spears Creek, and Woodbury Mobile Home Parks. Woody was preceded in death by: his mother, Frances P. Caldwell. Woody Allen Goodwin leaves to cherish his precious memory: three daughters, Ashley R. Livingston, Lynette O. Goodwin, and Kayla Goodwin, all of Columbia, SC; his father, Woodrow (Judy) Goodwin; two sisters, Frances Flemming, of Eastover, SC and Nikki L. Goodwin, of Hephzibah, GA; one brother, Michael Bolton, of Columbia, SC; three stepsisters, Sandra Montgomery, of Columbia, SC, LaKesha Farmer, of Augusta, GA, and Octavia Goodwin, of Athens, GA; one stepbrother, Darrell Bailey, of Columbia, SC; a host of other loving relatives and caring friends, all of whom will miss him dearly. Services: Funeral services for Woody Allen Goodwin will be held 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at JP Holley Funeral Home, Garners Ferry Road Chapel. A visitation will be held Tuesday from 3:30-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
