Obituary: Those left to cherish his fond memories are his wife, Rebecca J. Goodwin; sons, Wayne (Maxine) Goodwin, Barry (Loretta) Goodwin; daughters, Janice (Gerald) Dinkins, Wanda Herbert, and Susan G. Goodwin; brother, Harold Goodwin; sisters; Alma Dinkins, Carolyn Jones, Betty Byrd, Annie Stewart, fourteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and one great, great-grandchildren, along with a host of other loving relatives and caring friends all of whom will miss him dearly Services: Hopkins - Services for Rev. Willie James Goodwin Jr. will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday , June 1, 2016 at First Nazareth Baptist Church interment to follow in the Greenlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held today 1 to 8:00 p.m. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8. At the JP Holley Funeral Home Columbia Chapel.
