Willie Mae Bookert

Obituary: Those left to cherish her precious memoris are her daughters, Shelby Bookert and Nicolette (Dewayne) Burnette; son, Timothy Bookert Jr.; mother, Ruthie Myers Sims; sisters: Johnnie Blume, Betty Jackson, Rita Dunlap, Susie Woodruff, Marlene (James) Cunningham, Wanda (Calvin) Gordon and Sharon Ladson; brothers: Herodius (Barbara) Ladson, Rev. Stanley (Diane) Ladson Sr. and Demetrius (Darlene) Ladson; eight grandchildren; companion, George O. Rauch Jr.; along with a host of other loving relatives and caring friends all of whom will miss her dearly. Services: will be held 12:00 noon Thursday, March 24, 2016 at Zion Pilgrim Baptist Church with interment to follow in the church Cemetery. Mrs. Bookert will be placed in the church at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 3 to 8:00 p.m. followed by a wake service beginning at 7:00 p.m. Services have been entrusted to JP Holley Funeral Home.
