William Rick Heape

William “Rick” Heape peacefully departed this earthly life on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at the age of 68.

Rick was a man who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He especially enjoyed spending his spare time visiting rivers and lakes, where he could sit peacefully, watch the water, and appreciate the beauty and tranquility of nature. These quiet moments brought him happiness and relaxation.

Rick also had a passion for painting, a trade he pursued on a part-time basis. He took pride in his work and enjoyed using his skills to bring new life and beauty to his surroundings.

Rick leaves to cherish his memory his former wife, Judy Heape; three stepsons, Jonathan (Crystal) Crooke, Steve Crooke, and Clarance (Teri) Crooke; and one stepdaughter, Traci (Bob) Cummins.

Although Rick has departed from this earthly life, his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His peaceful spirit, appreciation for nature, and the memories he created will forever be treasured.
