Willard H. Bailey Iii

Willard Hilary Bailey III was welcomed to this world on April 28, 1945 by his parents Willard Hilary Bailey II and Lillian Cabana Bailey and passed away June 28, 2023.

He was known simply as "Buddy" to those who knew and loved him. Buddy shared his life with his loving and devoted wife and caregiver Valerie Finch Bailey, living their retirement years in their dream cabin on the pond next to long time friends Rick & Nita Ragsdale. Prior to his last years of illness, Buddy was employed by the Fairfield County Government in their IT Dept. until he decided to retire. He would spend his days caring for his vegetable garden, rising before dawn to hunt, trolling on the pond for fish and catching NASCAR races.

In addition to his wife, Buddy is survived by his sister Fran Hindsley and husband Jeff, son Robert "Bobby" Bailey and wife Jackie, daughter in law Elizabeth "Beth" Bailey, step children Jennifer "Jenny" Allen and husband Ray, John Rider and wife April, Charles "Chuck" Rider and daughter Christin. Buddy was known as "Pop Pop" to several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The family will be holding a small memorial service to be determined at a later date.
