Vonnie Cole April 6, 1942 - November 14, 2022 Westville — Vonnie Payne Cole, 80 years old, passed away on Monday, November 14, 2022. She was born on April 6, 1942, in her home on Payne Pond rd., in Westville, SC to Teddy Amos Payne and Minnie Lee Ellis Payne. Vonnie was a compassionate person whose passion in life was taking care of others as an elderly aide as well as the sole proprietor of her own cleaning company. She was more than happy to be the central figure in the lives of all that knew her. She was loved by many, to know her was to love her and be loved by her. She was a devoted christian, a beloved mother, sister, Granny, aunt, and friend to so, so many. She loved photography and getting pictures of family every chance she could get, she knew the importance of photo’s, always saying, “Once we’re gone, these pictures are the memories we leave behind.” Vonnie is preceded in death by her husband James Milton Cole, her son James Ray Morris (Jimmy),3 brothers, Raymond, Jesse, and James Payne. She leaves behind a legacy and many living relatives, beginning with her sisters, Mary Welch, Betty Hornsby, & Joyce McDougal as well as her brother Randolph Payne. Her children, 2 daughters, Sherry Lee Brewer and Jenny Lynn Beckham (Bobby Gene), 2 sons Steven E. Morris and Jeffrey Byron Cole; as well as a special niece, Patricia Canup. Her grandchildren Jessi- ca Blackmon, Amanda Roberts (Bo). Robin Adams, Crystal Adams (Michael), Wendell Clay Adams Jr (Erica), Ashley Bunting, and Jeffrey Cole (Patience). She also leaves behind 14 great grandchildren. Billy, Jessika, Drake, Ziva, Zoey, Dillan, Amber, Austin, Everleigh, Levi, Kinsley, Caysen, Mia, and Lawson. The family asks that you join them to celebrate the life of Vonnie where services will be held at her family church at House of Prayer with Open Arms Church, 3033 Old Georgetown rd W. Kershaw, SC 29067. Reverand Donald Barrett officiating on November 25, 2022 at 11 am.
