Obituary: Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Mamie Wesley Jacobs; daughter, Tamara (Brandace) Jacobs-Hopper; sons, Cameron (Beverly) Wesley Sr., Van Jacobs III, Reginald (Jennita) Jacobs and Bevan (Priscilla) Jacobs; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren along with a host of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and caring friends all of whom will miss him dearly. Services: will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at St. John Baptist Church with interment to follow 12:00 noon Thursday, July 23, 2015 at the Ft. Jackson National Cemetery. Mr. Jacobs will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4 to 8:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8:00p.m. Services have been entrusted to JP Holley Funeral Home.
