Trudy W. Robinson

Obituary: Mrs. Trudy Wright Robinson the daughter of the late Arthur A. Wright and Eula Mae Dreher was born September 26, 1943 in Irmo, South Carolina. She entered into the arms of Jesus on Friday, May 25, 2018 at the Brian Center in Columbia, South Carolina. She was a graduate of Richlex High School, Class of 1963. She went on to attend Benedict College. She worked for Lexington Richland School District 5 at Irmo High School for over twenty (20) years before her retirement. She was a well-known and beloved member of the community. She was employed for over twenty-five (25) years and retired in 2002. She was preceded in heaven by: her father, Arthur A. Wright; mother, Eula Mae Dreher Wright; one son, Anthony C. Robinson; one daughter, Myra L. Wright; and one granddaughter, Saranne R. Wright. Those who celebrate her life and cherish precious, loving memories are: her three sons, Julius Jerome (Bonnie) Wright, of Irmo, SC, Thomas A. LaShoun Wright, of Newberry, SC, Maurice Robinson (Cornelia) Bell, of Irmo, SC; seven grandchildren reared in the home, Felix Wright, Princess Wright, Julius Dreher, Jr., Jasmine Wright, Antonio Wright, and Noel Wright; three grandsons, Richard Rewitzer, Kristopher Wright, and Brandon Wright; five granddaughters, Ashleigh Wright, Amber Wright, Charity Wright, Alyvia Wright, and Megan Holman; nineteen great-grandchildren; three brothers, Arthur A. (Precilla) Wright, Albert Wright, and Hubert (Lillian) Wright, all of Columbia, SC; one sister, Rosa Marie Wright, of Irmo, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and caring friends, all of whom will miss her dearly. Services: Funeral services for Trudy W. Robinson will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Pleasant Spring AME Church, with burial in the church cemetery. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
