Toni Shawana Wright

Obituary: Ms. Toni Shawana Wright, affectionately known as Precious, of 101 Hallbrook Drive, Columbia, SC, formerly of Bronx, NY was born January 24, 1976 in New York, NY. She was the daughter of the late Earnestine Wright and Robert Dudley. On Friday, March 2, 2018, she departed this earthly life to join her Heavenly Father for eternal rest. Precious was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She attended P.S. 132, I.S. 143, and George Washington High School. She was employed at the Population Council in New York, NY as an Administrative Assistant until her health begin to decline and she became disabled. For those who knew Precious, knew she was the life of the party. One with a genuine heart and caring soul, who could win a cook off, especially with her baked macaroni and cheese! She was a very strong woman who leaves behind two strong children to carry out her legacy. Ms. Toni Shawana Wright leaves to cherish her precious and sweet memory: one son, Savion Lanear Sellers; one daughter, Patience Hannah Gibbs; three brothers, Robert Wright, Joseph Dudley, both of New York, and Timothy Wright, of Virginia; two sisters, Robbin Dudley-Covington and Debra Font, both of New York; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other loving relatives and friends, all of whom will miss her dearly. Services: Funeral services for Toni Shawana Wright will be held 12:00 noon, Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Eastover, SC, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
