Robert "Tony" W Cantrell Jr.

Robert Walton (Tony) Cantrell, Jr. of Swansea, SC entered eternal rest on December 9,

2024 at the age of 69. Born on January 12, 1955 in Greenville, SC, he was the son of

Robert W. and Myrtice Hayes Cantrell Cox of Easley, South Carolina.

After graduating from Brookland Cayce High School in 1973 and obtaining an

Associates Degree in Mechanical Drafting from Midlands Technical College in 1975, he

worked as a draftsman for many years at Westinghouse Nuclear in Hopkins, South

Carolina and retired therefrom.

He was predeceased by his father. Surviving are his mother, Myrtice Hayes Cantrell Cox, daughter,

Courtney Leigh Cantrell Waldrup (David) of Columbia, SC, brother, Kenneth Layne

Cantrell and Claire Verna’ Cantrell Grant (Kenneth), both of Easley, South Carolina,

grandsons, Dylan Lester Waldrup and Drew Lance Waldrup of Columbia, SC.

A private Celebration of Life for Tony will be held by the family after the holidays.
