Rachel Scott Clarkson

Obituary: Those left to cherish her precious memories are her daughters, Brenda (Aaron) Turpeau, Delores Monteith, Rai Tanya (Otha) Dillihay; son, Zack C. (Deborah Lane) Clarkson Jr.; sister, Myrtle Scott Mathis; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; along with a host of other loving relatives and caring friends all of whom will miss her dearly. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made to Central Carolina Community Foundation, 2711 Middleburg Drive, Suite 213, Columbia, SC 29204 for The Zack C and Rachel Clarkson Scholarship Fund established for African American male students at Lower Richland High School. Services: will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at Zion Benevolent Baptist Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Clarkson will be placed in the church at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will be held Monday from 5 to 8:00 p.m. Services have been entrusted to JP Holley Funeral Home.
