Patricia Anne Mclaughlin

Patricia Anne McLaughlin of Summerton, SC passed away peacefully at  home on December 16, 2024.  Patricia was born in Norwalk, Connecticut October 4, 1959 to the late John (Jack) Louis McLaughlin and Joan Elizabeth Whitney McLaughlin. Patti was also predeceased by her life partner of 50 years Mark  Edward Armell.  Patti was a bartender for many years at Rikki D’s Social Club of Manning SC, she often talked about the  good times she had there and the many friends she made over the years. I used to get tickled while out on   the town with Patti, she would see someone she knew and would blurt out rum and coke or whatever   cocktail they fancied. Patti loved all animals and fed the many stray cats in her area.   Patti loved all her siblings unconditionally and with her whole heart, we will surely miss that love. We  will miss her laugh and her sometimes not so gentle truth. Her loving family, Trudy (Kevin) Sullivan,  Karen (Thomas) Miller, John McLaughlin, Kim (Darryl) Shaw and special friends, Brenda Wood and Dr.  Priscilla Welch, as well as her Uncles, Aunt, nieces, nephews and cousins.  Patti requested there be no memorial services. Though she will be sadly missed, we can all celebrate her  life by remembering the good times, the laugh until you cry moments will forever bring a smile to our faces  and joy to our hearts.
