Nancy Prescott

Nancy "Susan" Prescott, 76, was born on August 1, 1948 to James R. Combs and Kathleen L. Lucas Combs. She is a graduate of Central Carolina Technical College and enjoyed her time in practice as a Medical Assistant in Leesburg, Florida. In her spare time, she enjoyed watching movies, painting, drawing, and making jewelry. Susan is survived by her sister, Marietta Angel (David) of Charlotte, NC. Also surviving are her daughters Terrianna Golightly, Kathy Soto (Dale), Laura Prescott Tabor (Matt), her son, Dennis Prescott (Leona), and her former husband of 34 years, Dennis Lee Prescott. Susan is preceded in death by her son, Bernardo "Benny" Soto III, and her former husband Bernardo Soto, Sr.  In addition, Susan has nine grandchildren, Kayle (Soto) Starr,  Brandy Soto, and Austin Soto of Ohio. James "Cole" Tabor, Madelyn Davis, Heather Griner, Melissa Odom, William Golightly and Troy Prescott of South Carolina. She also has seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial celebration is planned for a later date in her hometown of Arnette, West Virginia.
