Michelle Lee Fitzgerald

In loving memory of Michelle Fitzgerald, 54, of Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away peacefully on September 4, 2026, at Richland Memorial Hospital. She was born August 1, 1972, in Anderson, South Carolina, to Carolyn Bush and Ronald Scoggins.

She was a kind soul and a light to many. She had a great sense of humor, and she was always willing to give what she had to others. She was a mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister. Although she will be missed, we look forward to the day we can be reunited with her in heaven.

Michelle is survived by her sisters, Angelia Dodson and Cindy Bail; her mother, Carolyn Bush; her daughters, Hanna Vasquez and Jessica Harman; her sons, Cory Fitzgerald and Daniel Currie; and her five grandchildren, Cobie Vasquez, Jase Vasquez, Kaelynn Harman, Kandice Howell, and Keylani Suttles, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Scoggins, her brother Mark Bush, and her uncle Robert Brazell.

A beautiful soul forever in our hearts. May God hold you close, surround you with His love, and grant you eternal peace.
