Mary Reese Ward

Obituary: Mrs. Mary Reese Ward was born March 23, 1930 in Hopkins, South Carolina. She was the daughter of the late William and Annie Bell Reese. She departed this life February 12, 2018. She was a member of Siloam Baptist Church. Mrs. Ward was preceded in death by: her parents; and her husband, Charles H. Ward, Sr. Surviving are: her son, Charles Ward, Jr.; her daughter, Joyce (Allen) Smith; and siblings, Susie Mae Harris, Irene Hoy, and Mattie (Edward) Ferdinand; two grandchildren, Brenton and Chelsea Smith; a host of other loving relatives and friends. Services: Funeral services for Mary Reese Ward will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday at the New Light Beulah Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery. A visitation will be held Saturday evening from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
