Obituary: Linda V. Omer was born March 5, 1949 in Hartford, CT. She went home to the Lord on Friday, September 21, 2018 after a long battle with breast cancer. She attended the public schools and graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Physical Therapy in 1971. She practiced Physical Therapy in a variety of settings and retired in 2006 from the Dorn VA Department of Rehabilitation in Columbia, South Carolina. She was a member of Windsor United Methodist Church and served on various teams and missions. Her favorites were singing with the Praise Team and cooking at the Penn Center Salkahatchie Camp. She loved to cook and feed family and friends, putter in her flower beds, and walk the beach on the Bay of Abaco. Linda was preceded in death by: her parents, Dominic and Alice Vallera; and her first husband, Ray H. Condry. She is survived by: her husband, William David Omer; brother, Joseph (Kathy) Vallera; sister, Diane (Ron) Bilodeau; nephews, Sean (Emily) Bilodeau and Jeffrey (Brigid) Vallera; niece, Lisa (Dave) Kozcak; great-nephew, Tenzin Bilodeau; great-niece, Colleen Elizabeth Vallera.
