Kevin Allen Beck

On Sunday, June 25, 2023,  Kevin (60) went to his heavenly home to rejoin his parents Lillie Mae and John Beck, and his maternal grandparents, Effie and Benjamin Powell, and his paternal grandparents Lena and Glen Beck.

Kevin was born in Danville, Illinois and grew up in Georgetown where he also attended schools.  He was a member of Georgetown Church of The Nazarene.

He had a daughter Trisha (David) Hogan of  Evansville, Indiana.

He worked at Michelin Tire Plant after moving to South Carolina in 1989, but his favorite job was Groundskeeper Manager at a gated community in Chapin.

He married Cynthia Mattox in 1997.  She brought her daughter, Faith (Donnie) Burns, Lexington, to the marriage which Kevin raised since she was 3 years old.  They have a daughter Scarlett.  They attend Calvary Chapel in Lexington, South Carolina.

Kevin is also survived by a sister, Karen, a nephew, Matthew Allen, and a niece, Jessie May (Michael) Revis and great-nephew, William of Lake City.

Kevin also has two grandchildren from his daughter, a granddaughter Charlotte and a grandson, Elijah.

His ashes will be scattered in Folly Beach, SC on August 13 2023.
