Obituary: She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughters, Angela D. Lawrence and Karen Y. (Ivory) Hemphill; sons, Samuel E. Sumter, Marvin (Janice) Sumter, Willie J. (Elizabeth) Sumter, and Ira A. (Dianna) Sumter; sisters, Catherine (John) Bush and Ella Marie Boyce; twelve grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Services: will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 8, 2015 at Zion Benevolent Baptist Church with interment to follow in the church's cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday from 2 to 8 p.m. The family will be receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Services have been entrusted to JP Holley Funeral Home.
