Obituary: Those left to cherish her memories are her sons, Tony Rivers, Edwin (Valerie)Rivers, Vinson (Shondra)Rivers, Treasury Rivers and Terry (Shanda)Rivers; daughters, Cassandra (Tony)Brooks and Julia Ann Rivers; brother, Harry Anderson Jr., sisters, Caroline A. Jacobs, Denise Anderson and Deloris Scott; nine grandchildren along with a host of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and caring friends all of whom will miss her dearly. Services: will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 23,2015 at Zion Benevolent Baptist Church with interment to follow in the church's cemetery. Mrs. Rivers will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2 to 8:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8:00p.m. Services have been entrusted to JP Holley Funeral Home.
