Obituary: Those left to cherish his memories are his daughters, Sarah Goodwin, Jeanette (Jason) Graham and Jean McBeth; sons, Jason Smith, John (Dorothy) Smith Jr., Jesse Smith, Joseph (Octavia) Smith, and Joe Louis (Deborah) Smith; sister, Mary Sims ; daughter-in-law, LaSandra Felder-Smith; sister-in-law, Bobbie Lee Edmonds; brothers-in-law, Freddie Sumter and Jesse Finch; eighteen grands; thirty-two great grands; one great-great grand along with a host of other loving relatives and friends all of whom will miss him dearly. Services: will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church with interment to follow in the church's cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2 to 8:00 p.m. Services have been entrusted to JP Holley Funeral Home.
