Obituary: Mr. Goodwin is survived by two sons, Charles Goodwin, and David Goodwin; three daughters; Martha (Larry) Myers, Pauline (Nathaniel) Shiver, and Mary Parker; 17 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. www.jpholley.com Services: Funeral services for Mr. John Carter Goodwin will be held 12 pm, Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at Zion Benevolent Baptist Church Hopkins, SC. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. Mr. Goodwin will be placed in the church for viewing one hour prior to the service. Visitation will be held Tuesday at 3 pm, and the family will be receiving friends between 6-8 pm at the JP Holley Funeral Home, Garners Ferry Road Chapel.
