Obituary: Mr. Hopkins leaves to cherish his memories, his son; Cedrick L. Smith of Gadsden, SC; daughters; Taneca D. Matthews, of Columbia, SC, Sandquiral L. Smith of Hopkins, SC; brothers; Edward Bolton of Hopkins, SC, Michael (Jackie) Richardson, George (Portia) Richardson all of Columbia, SC; sisters; Evangelist Norma (Rev. Matthew) Mickens, Constance Bolton, Priscilla Hopkins, Harriett (Larry) James, all of Hopkins, SC. Four grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends whom will miss him dearly. Services: Funeral Service for Mr. Joel Curtis Hopkins will be held 11:00 am Monday, July 10, 2017 at St. John Baptist Church in Hopkins, SC. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Hopkins will be placed in the church one hour prior for public viewing. Visitation will be held Sunday from 3pm to 8pm at the JP Holley Funeral Home Columbia Chapel.
