Jesse W. Johnson

Obituary: Mr. Johnson was born December 14, 1939 in Kershaw County, South Carolina. He was the son of the late Heyward Johnson, Jr. and Minnie Neal-Johnson. He departed this earthly life Monday, April 29, 2019. He was preceded in death by: a sister, Evelyn Johnson; five brothers, Chris Johnson, Mennard Johnson; Ernest Johnson, Melvin E. Johnson, Heyward Johnson. Surviving are: three daughters, Wanda (Reginald) Jones, Jessica (Okechukwu) Chigbu, and Alleyne Johnson; one brother, Johnny Johnson; 6 grandchildren; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews; other loving relatives and caring friends, all of whom will miss him dearly. Services: Graveside service for Jesse W. Johnson will be 5:00 p.m. held Saturday, May 4, 2019 at St. John Baptist Church Cemetery, Hopkins, SC.
