Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held 3:00 pm Sunday, August 25, 2024 at JP Holley Funeral Home Northeast Chapel.
Jeffrey Walter Pease, a beloved husband, father, brother, and grandfather passed away on August 15th, 2024, in Columbia, South Carolina. He was born on October 30th, 1953, in Charleston, South Carolina to the late Marian and William Pease.
Jeffrey leaves behind his loving wife Trish Turner Pease; daughters Rebecca Miller (Josh), Mary Elizabeth Hunter (Hollie) and their mother Cathy Cannady. Sons Jackson and Mason Turner, daughters, Riley Grace Turner and Candice Carson (Andrew). He is also survived by his brothers Daniel Pease (Vicky) and Jim Pease (Louise) as well as numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. he is predeceased by his brother David Pease.
A dedicated family man with an unwavering commitment to serving his country, Jeffrey was a Limestone University graduate and proud veteran who served in both the Army and Navy. His dedication led him to become a 100 percent service-connected disabled veteran. He also retired from VC Summer Nuclear station and was a lifetime member of the Amity masonic lodge #87 in Newberry, South Carolina.
Beyond his military service and his love for kids, pancakes and math, he was known for his kind heart and generous spirit. His absence will be felt deeply by all whose lives he touched but we take comfort knowing that he has left behind a legacy of love, strength courage, kindness, humor, resilience, honor, loyalty, humility, compassion, integrity, perseverance, sacrifice, hope, faith, friendship, forgiveness, grace, gratitude, patience and peace.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the VA home based primary care team and nurse Dayna Mason for all their hard work and special care.
