James Arthur Kelly Aka Joe Louis Kelly

Obituary: Today we pause to pay respect to James "Joe" Arthur Kelly, who departed his life June 12, 2018, at his residence in Columbia, South Carolina. James Kelly was born in Richland County, South Carolina on July 4, 1948 to the late Henry Kelly, Sr. and Maggie P. Kelly, both formally of Eastover, South Carolina. Joe Kelly, as he was affectionately called by family and friends attended the public schools of Richland County, South Carolina. He was the proud owner of Joe James Kelly Masonry in Columbia, South Carolina, until a brief illness. His memories will be cherished by: one daughter, Tamika (Eddie) Kelly, of Columbia, SC; five sons, Kevin (Christie) Kelly, Joseph Kelly, Mathia (Keyatta) Chambers, Jason Clark, all of Columbia, SC, and Cory (Ashley) Heatly, of Rock Hill, SC; 23 grandchildren; two brothers, Rudolph (Lorena) Kelly, of Hopkins, SC and Henry Kelly, Jr., of Eastover, SC; six sisters, Gracie B (James) Josey, Hopkins, SC, Edith (James) Dove, of Gadsden, SC, Linda (Willie) Smith, Thelma Kelly, Jerlene Harris, all of Eastover, SC, and Margie White, of Plainfield, NJ; three aunts, Fannie Nathan, Dorothy Johnson, Ella Simons; three uncles, Henry Pressley, Charlie Kelly, and Willie Kelly; a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends, all of whom will miss him dearly. Services: Funeral services James Arthur Kelly AKA Joe Louis Kelly will be held Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 12:00 noon at JP Holley Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
