Obituary: What is time? Time is a portion of eternity mark off by God to show the brevity of life and the certainty of death. Time on earth ended for our mother Hyacinth Morgan on Friday April 29, 2016 at midnight she went home to be with Jesus from her home in Lexington South Carolina. Hyacinth Veronica Gayle Morgan was born on June 29, 1939 to the late Eustace Gayle and Elsa Myrtle Forbes in Kingston Jamaica West Indies. In her early years of traveling, she spent most of that time between Jamaica and Chicago and finally settled in New York in 1972. While living in New York she pursued an education in Health Care. Upon graduating in 1979 she began her career at the Hebrew Nursing Home in the Bronx. Not very fond of the cold weather mother decided to move to Florida where she lived for over 30yrs. While living in Florida she started to embark and her childhood love of writing poems. She wrote a poem titled Childhood Memories which was publish in the Treasured Poems of America in the Fall of 1998. With all her accomplishments, none could compare to the year of 1981 when she was baptized in the name of Jesus and she never look back since. Whatever the obstacle came her way, she always said "If Jesus was crucified and he went about doing good, what was say I" she lived her life desire to please the Lord she believed in the word of God and trust it to guide her every day. She trusted the word of God so much that when someone had a conversation with her, it didn't matter who it was or what the topic was about she always end the conversation with the word of God. Her greatest treasure she left behind are the many scriptures she often shared with her children and grandchildren and to all who would listen whether spoken or written she had one message " one day we are going to see Jesus what then". In August of 2009 she moved to South Carolina where she resided until her final departure. Presided her in death are her parents, one sister and two brothers. She left to cherish her memories her eight children: Everton Evelyn - Delreta Mignott- Brown - Alexander Myers- Marcia Newell - Antony Hibbert - Barbara Morgan - Joan Morgan and April Morgan; 16 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, 3 brothers, nieces, and nephews and lot of cousins. Services: Memorial Service Wednesday May 11, 2016 from 7pm-9pm. Pentecostal City Mission Church 1618 Central Avenue Farrockaway, NY 11691. Final Funeral Services will be held by Madden's Funeral Home Crematorium 42 Constant Spring Road, Kingston 10 Jamaica, West Indies The service will be Sunday May 29th, 2016. She will be laid to rest at Dovecot Memorial Park. Our family will be leaving on Friday May 27th, 2016 and returning on Monday May 30th, 2016.
