Helene Dove

September 27, 1958 — September 24, 2024

It is with great sadness that the family of Helene Dove announce her passing. Helene left us on September 24, 2024, But her legacy of love and service will continue to inspire us all. For 21 years, Helene worked diligently at the Lexington County assessors office. Her commitment and tireless effort were admired by her colleagues and community alike. Her work extended beyond the office. She was a dedicated member of the Redbank Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir and devoted countless hours to various church activities. Helene found immense joy in helping others and spent much of her time doing things for the church. She cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren highlighting the love and warmth she brought into their lives. Her favorite Bible verse was Jeremiah 29:11. This verse truly encapsulates her spirit . She lived with hope and a steadfast belief for a brighter future for those around her. Helene leaves behind her loving husband, Wayne Dove and devoted son Gary Dove. They along with her grandchildren will hold onto the beautiful memories and the lessons she imparted. The services to honor Helene‘s life will be held at 4 o’clock Friday, September 27 at the rescue church located at 441 Old Charleston Rd., Pelion, SC The family kindly requested flowers donations, be made to the church.
