Gregory E Girault

The passing of Mr. Gregory "Greg" Girault.

Born on September 10, 1966, in Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of the late Eugenia and Marcel Girault. Gregory departed this life on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at MUSC in Charleston, South Carolina.

Gregory was educated in the New York City school system from there he started his working career. He worked for the New York City Transit System where his love for busses and trucks started. The majority of his life he spent as an over the road truck driver for Red Classic & Charlotte Area Transit (CATS) , tour bus driver, and a shuttle driver for Kelly Tours. There wasn't a state that he hadn't drove through. One of his many accomplishments included a Bus Rodeo with Charlotte Area Transit where he won 2nd place. Gregory had an enormous heart a never meet a stranger.

Mr. Girault leaves to cherish his memory his brother Marcel of Yonkers New York, his sister Nicole (Derick) of Columbia SC, his nephew Jonathan , his niece Alexis of Hopkins, his friend Harold Gowder who will take him on his forever over the road ride and a very special friend Yvonne Chaney and a host of relatives and friends who will miss him dearly. Rest easy driver your shift is over and may you find smooth highways and clear skies on the other side.
