Essie Gridine

Obituary: Those left to cherish her precious memories are her daughters, Ora Williams, Rebecca Blue and Barbara (Charles) Goodwin; sons: Willie (Carrie) Gridine, Johnny (Yvonne) Gridine, Frank (Tina) Gridine and Terry (Carol) Gridine; sisters: Janie Green, Sara Webber and Betty (Tom) Adams; seventeen grandchildren; thirty-eight great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; along with a host of other loving relatives and caring friends all of whom will miss her dearly. Services: will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 26, 2016 at St. Mark Baptist Church (Gadsden) with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Gridine will be placed in the church at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will be held Friday from 2 to 8:00 p.m. Services have been entrusted to JP Holley Funeral Home.
