Ernestine M. Roundtree

Obituary: Ernestine McFadden Roundtree was a loving mother , daughter, grandmother , sister , and devoted woman of God . Born in and raised in Columbia S.C. she was the daughter of the late Rosa Lee Barnes and the late Ernest Roundtree . She graduated from Eau Claire High School in 1971. She was previously employed by the Depth. of Mental Health . She spent the duration of her life being a faithful servant of Jesus Christ and encouraged others to do the same . She is survived by her daughter Jacquelyn (Otho J.) Webb,daughter Timika McFadden , sons Antonio Levan McFadden , Curtis Tavares McFadden, Lawrence Stanley McFadden , and Quinton Jamar McFadden. Sisters Gloria (Daniel) Davis, Bessie Barnes, and preceded in death Geneva Jackson . Brothers Thurmond McFadden and preceded in death Vincent McFadden , Eddie Burton Jr, and Charles Edward McFadden . Grandchildren Alexander Perry lll, Khadijah Perry , Joshua Perry , Quaneisha Johnson , Daleisha Johnson , Tyrone Johnson , Aaliyah Smith, Aalasia Garrick, Tydric Abney, and Curtesy McFadden . Nieces Lafonshai Barnes, Jerica Davis, and Raquel Boulware . Nephews Clifford Barnes, Tyrone Barnes, Jermaine McFadden , and Vincent McFadden. She had a host of cousins. Services: Funeral service for Mrs. Ernestine M. Roundtree will held 11:00am Saturday December 17, 2016 at the JP Holley Funeral Home- Columbia Chapel. Visitation will be held Friday, 2-8pm at the JP Holley Funeral Home- Columbia Chapel.
