Obituary: Those left to cherish his fond memories are his loving wife of 71 years, Adelle Brawley; children, Lucinda (Harvey) Gantt, Ernest (Eddie Ruth) Brawley Jr., Rose (Carl) Singley, Joseph Brawley, Stanley (Carolyn) Brawley and Paul (Wendy) Brawley; twenty grandchildren; twenty-eight great grandchildren along with a host of other loving relatives and caring friends all of whom will miss him dearly. Services: will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 24, 2015 at St. Phillip A.M.E. Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Brawley will be placed in the church at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 3 to 8:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m. Services have been entrusted to JP Holley Funeral Home.
