Eric Smith

Obituary: Eric K. Smith, born March 29, 1967 received his wings July 16, 2017. He resided in the Lexington area of SC. Eric was predeceased in death by his father, Jack C. Smith; maternal grandparents, Ernest & Ola Belle Hunter; paternal grandparents Paul & Riley Smith; and uncle, Wayne (Betty) Hunter. He was an avid motorcycle rider, who participated in numerous benefits events. These benefits were primarily for riders that passed before him, as well as those in need. Eric was a good husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He was loved and will be missed by his wife, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Eric left behind his loving wife, Melisa C. Smith; son Cody R. Smith; mother Mary H. Smith; sister Tonya (Andy) Dinkins; aunts, Ruby Hanna & Debbie Curry; and uncles Murdic (Dinah) Hunter & Danny (Betty) Hunter. Services: Memorial services will be held at Rock Family Worship Center, 504 Platts Springs Road at 2:00pm, Saturday, July 22, 2017. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the family for medical expenses.
