Obituary: Emma Carolyn Norman of Columbia passed away at home peacefully on Thursday, September 21, 2017.Emma was born on February 8, 1945 in Evansville, Indiana. Emma worked honorably along side our soldiers and sailors as an employee of AAFES(Army & Air Force Exchange Service) for 20+ years. She managed locations in Europe, Texas, and eventually Fort Jackson, South Carolina. Her loving parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister predecease her. 4 Sons survive her: Tony, Tracy, James II, and Carlyle; as well as 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She is further survived by 2 brothers(Arthur & Clifford), 2 sisters(Sarah & Grace), and former husband James. Services: Funeral Service for Mrs. Emma C Norman will be held 1:00 pm Friday Sept. 29, 2017 at the JP Holley Funeral Home - Columbia Chapel.. Mrs. Norman will be available for public viewing Friday from 9::00 am to 1: 00 pm at the funeral home.
