Edna Bostic Adams

Obituary: Mrs. Edna Bostic Adams was born in Eastover, South Carolina on December 22, 1927. She was the daughter of the late Wesley and Bessie Pressley Bostic. She was the lone survivor of a triplet birth. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and surrogate parent to many. Early Monday morning on January 8, 2018, she departed this life. She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior at an early age. Mrs. Adams retired from Richland County School District One (Caughman Road Elementary) as a cook after twenty dedicated years of service. She was preceded in death by, her husband, Cornell Adams of fifty three years; two sisters; and two brothers. Mrs. Edna Bostic Adams leaves to cherish her precious memory: six children, Carole (Andrew) Jackson, Colonel (Ret) Ronald (Sheila) Adams, Irvin (Jerline) Adams, Wilma (John) Jackson, Ruby Rikard, and Lorraine (James) Graham; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jasper (Essie) Brooks and John( Jackie) Adams; thirteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends that adored her. Services: Funeral Services for Mrs. Edna Bostic Adams will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, January 11, 2018 at JP Holley Funeral Home- Columbia Chapel. Interment will follow in the Green lawn Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 3 to 8 pm.
