Eddie Gene Simmons

Obituary: Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Catherine Myers Simmons; sons, Anthony Simmons and Eddie Eugene Simmons; daughters, Shaniqua L. (Samuel) Simmons Ihejirika, Keyata T. Singleton, Valerie (Alvin) Forman and Deirdre Myers; sisters, Wealthy Murrell, Annie Bell Bolling and Grace Simmons; sixteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren along with a host of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and caring friends all of whom will miss him dearly. Services: will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 13, 2015 at JP Holley Funeral Home (Chapel) with interment to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Friday from 2 to 8:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m. Services have been entrusted to JP Holley Funeral Home.
