Dennis Wayne Boyce, 52, of Gaston, South Carolina, passed away on June 12, 2025.
Dennis was born on October 4, 1972, in Richland, South Carolina, to the late Joyce Temple Boyce and Burl Wayne Boyce. From an early age, Dennis had a sharp mind for business and a natural hustle. He spent his life in the car business, not only as a dealer but as someone who loved flipping cars for cash and working the auctions to make more money — always chasing the next deal.
Dennis was as stubborn as a goat, and he could be an absolute handful — but that was part of his charm, and the people who loved him wouldn’t have had it any other way. He lived by his words: “If you lie to me, it’s like you’re stealing from me — and I don’t like a thief.” His honesty, loyalty, and straight-shooter attitude made him unforgettable.
One of his favorite songs was “Bad Company” by Bad Company — a song that reflected his bold spirit and how he lived life on his own terms.
He is survived by his children: Harley Boyce (spouse Ashley), Amanda Finch, Adam Boyce, Amber Rosales Cabrera, and Paige Boyce; his beloved grandchildren: Lillian, Ethan, Alaska, Athena, Arrietta, and Addalyn; and his siblings: Deborah Apodaca, Stevie Ainsley, Bridgett Smith, Mary Boyce, and Caroline Boyce. He is also survived by his former wives, Ellisa Boyce, mother to Harley, Amanda, Adam, and Amber, and Kaitlyn Boyce, mother to Paige. His legacy of hard work, sharp wit, and unshakable determination will live on through his family.
A private gathering of family and friends will be held to celebrate Dennis’s life. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing him — stubborn streak and all.
