Delter Anderson

Obituary: Ms. Delter A. Anderson, of 1234 Universal Drive (Apt 1105) Columbia, South Carolina 29209, affectionately known as "DeeDee" by family and friends, was born March 30, 1965. She was the daughter of Louise Anderson and the late Robert Davis. On Monday, April 16, 2018, she entered into eternal rest. She was educated in the public schools of Richland County, South Carolina, and attended Lower Richland High School. She was a member of St. John Baptist Church, Hopkins, SC, where she was a great-auntie to all of the younger children who touched her life. Delter enjoyed working as a housekeeper for over 15 years. She also was a babysitter for relatives and friends. She lived her life to the fullest and enjoyed entertaining other with her cooking, dancing, and lots of laughter. She will truly be missed. Delter was preceded in death by her father, Robert Davis. Those left to cherish the precious memory of Ms. Delter A. Anderson: her mother, Louise Anderson, of Hopkins, SC; two sisters, Shirley (Donald) Ford, of Hopkins, SC and Rochelle Davis, of Columbia, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and caring friends, all of whom will miss her dearly. Services: Funeral services for Delter Anderson will be held Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 12:30 p.m. at St. John Baptist Church, Hopkins, South Carolina, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. A visitation will be held Friday, April 20, 2018 from 3:00-8:00 p.m. at the JP Holley Funeral Home, Garners Ferry Chapel.
