Obituary: Those left to cherish his fond memories are his wife, Patricia Way Chavis; daughter, Lashone Chavis; sons, Charles Chavis, David (Sheila) Chavis Jr. and Brian Branch; mother, Corine (Willie) Chavis Kelly; sister, Marilyn (Andrew) Chavis- Harris; brother, Jesse (Earnestine) Chavis and Andre (Lynda) Chavis along with a host of other loving relatives and caring friends all of whom will miss him dearly. Services: will be held 4:00 p.m. Saturday, September 12, 2015 at the JP Holley Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Friday from 4 to 8:00 p.m. Services have been entrusted to JP Holley Funeral Home.
