Obituary: He is survived by his wife, Thelma Dykes; sons, William Guess and John McDonald; daughters, Patricia Williams, Cynthia McDonald and Valerie Nixon; brother, Joshua Dykes; sisters, Caroline White and Pearl Felder; six grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Services: will be held 3:30 p.m., Saturday, January 31, 2015 at JP Holley Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. Services have been entrusted to JP Holley Funeral Home.
