David Eugene Bagwell Sr.

Obituary: David E. Bagwell Sr. of Hilton Head Island died peacefully at the age of 83 in Columbia S.C. at Palmetto Health Richland on September 22, 2017 after a very long illness. David is survived by his son Rev. David E. Bagwell Jr. and daughter Martha Matthews. David was born on November 18,1933 in Raleigh N.C. to Helen and Mahlon Bagwell . David graduated from N.C. State University and served in the United States Army at Fort Jackson in Columbia S.C. Mr Bagwell was a Businessman and Cosmetologist most of his adult life. He was appointed by several S.C. Governors to serve on the South Carolina Cosmetology Board. He is known internationally for his contributions to the cosmetology field winning many awards. At his request a private service will take place for the family on his favorite beach on Hilton Head Island S.C. Services:
