Obituary: Apostle Charles Allen Ford Apostle, Husband, Father, Brother, Uncle, Author, developer (May 10, 1955-May 16, 2018) Life of Apostle Ford Apostle Charles Allen Ford was born in Chestertown, Maryland. He was reared and educated in Wilmington Delaware. While in high school, he wrestled under the leadership of Coach Seabrook. Charles honorably retired from the United States Army after twenty-one (21) years, three (3) months, and thirteen (13) days of service. In December of 1976, while on a military assignment in Belgium, he encountered a young lady named Juanita Lovett. She was also in the communications field working as a switchboard operator and would someday become his wife. Juanita invited him to church, led him to the altar, and he encountered his first experience with the Lord. Her tenacity became a part of his success story. On February 14, 1977, Charles asked Juanita for her hand in marriage and on June 18, 1977, they were united in Holy Matrimony. Charles began his ministerial training in March of 1980, while in Killeen, Texas. He impacted the lives of hundreds of people all over the world while sharing the word of God. He was preceded in death by: his parents, Curtis L. Ford and Doris H. Ford; his twin brother, Clarence Ford; and one sister, Mary Littlejohn. Apostle Charles Ford leaves his legacy behind to his beloved wife, Apostle Juanita Ford, of the home; one daughter, Keesha Thomas, of Delaware; five grandchildren, Rahsaan Dixon, Rakim Dixon, Rahdeein Dixon, Rahzae Thomas, and Ny-Era Clark, all of Delaware; two great-grandchildren, Jayceon Staford and Milan Dixon, both of Delaware; two sisters, Dianne (Earl) King and Peggy White, both of Pennsylvania; two brothers, Curtis (Lavern) Ford, Jr., of Delaware and Harold (Amy) Ford, of Kansas; four sisters-in-law, Gloria Jean (Howard) Bell, of Florida, Margaret Ann Lovett, of Florida, Janice M. (Melvin) Stallworth, of North Carolina, and Elizabeth Lovett, of Alabama; three brothers-in-law, JC Lovett, Jr., Eddie H. (Florene) Lovett, and Horace A. (Catharain) Lovett, all of Florida; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, spiritual children, other loving relatives, and caring friends, all of whom will miss him dearly. Services: Funeral services for Apostle Charles Allen Ford will be held 12:00 noon Friday, May 25, 2018 at JP Holley Funeral Home, Garners Ferry Road Chapel. Interment will with full military honors will be held at a later date in the Florida National Cemetery.
