Carolyn Janice Myers Marchand

Carolyn Janice Myers Marchand, a loving mother and grandmother, passed away on June 6, 2024. Born in Reading, Pennsylvania, in 1946, she leaves behind a legacy of optimism and resilience. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles L. Myers and Jane Fabian Myers as well as her husband Richard Emile Marchand. Carolyn is survived by her children: David Marchand, Yvonne Kerner, Karen Marchand, Philip Marchand, Angela Rogers, and Ruth Hayes. She is also survived by her brothers, Dale Myers, Gary Myers, and Michael Myers, her sister-in-law, Mary Grebinec, and cherished grandchildren: Justin Kerner, Nicholas Kerner, Phalen Marchand, Cassie Speessen, Blake Hayes, Ainsley Burgess, Jon-Charles Burgess, and great-granddaughter Abigail Kerner.

Carolyn’s memory will inspire us to embrace life fully and to forgive others. As it is written in Ephesians 4:32 "Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you" As we reflect on her life, let us remember the importance of forgiveness and compassion.

A memorial dinner for family will take place in Tampa, Florida, on July 13th. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the local animal shelter.
