Bobby Leon Moses

Obituary: Bobby Leon Moses was born on June 6, 1964, in Bishopville, South Carolina. He was the son of Mary Moses and the late Joseph Rubin. He entered into God's arms on Thursday, May 24, 2018. He was educated in the public schools of Lee County, South Carolina, graduating from Bishopville High School, Class of 1982. At a young age he attended Mount Hermon Missionary Baptist Church. He was very humble and was known to be a jokey and very clever. Those that knew him understood his love for Jeopardy and his personality. He enjoyed grilling, listening to his favorite song "Miracle Worker" by Rance Allen, and spending time with his family and friends. Bobby was preceded in death by: his father, Joseph Rubin; one brother, Corey Moses; and two sisters, Gloria Jean Moses and Barbara Patterson. Bobby Leon Moses leaves to cherish his precious memory: his loving mother, Mary Moses, of the home; his siblings, Barbara (Maurice) Simien, Quinn (Yvette) Moses, Sherry Moses, Shayla Moses, Mondreia (Robert) Buxton, Carol McClaim, Latrisha (Derrick) Joye, Ruth McCleod, Stevie Hickmon, and Sherman (Sheea) Hickman; six aunts, Patricia Moses, Marilyn Gillard, Janet Gillard, Shirley Johnson, Janie Baker, and Annie Baker; one uncle, Tony (Diann) Harris; special cousin, Felicia Moses; goddaughter, Appollonia Sims; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and friends, all of whom will miss him dearly. Services: Funeral services for Mr. Bobby Leon Moses will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Mt. Hermon Missionary Baptist Church, Bishopville, SC, with burial to follow in the Thomastown Cemetery, Bishopville, SC. A public viewing will be held Tuesday, May 29, 2018 from 12:00-7:00 p.m. at the JP Holley Funeral Home, Bishopville Chapel, 114 East Church Street, Bishopville, SC, 29010.
