Obituary: Those left to cherish his fond memories are her son, Reginald Smothers; daughter, Carolanne Beverly; brothers, Robert Smothers, Joseph Smothers; and a host of family and friends whom will miss him dearly. Services: Service for Mr. Birchard William Smothers will be held 11:00 am, Friday, Dec. 30, 2016 at JP Holley Funeral Home Columbia Chapel. Interment will be held Tuesday January 03, 2017 at 10 :00 am at the Ft. Jackson National Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 4pm to 8pm.
