Belinda Clarke

Belinda Clarke, 64, of North, South Carolina, passed away on December 23rd at Richland Memorial Hospital in Columbia, SC.

Belinda was born in Columbia, SC to David Clarke and Clara Odessa Brooks on June 11, 1957. She graduated from Columbia High in the Class of 1975.  Although unmarried at time of death, she was previously married to Andrew Argoe Jr. and Steven Whitaker. She helped families avoid foreclosure as a loan refinance officer. She enjoyed thrifting, gardening, reading, helping others and visiting family.

Belinda is preceded in death by her parents, as well as Doris Brooks Clarke and Esther Lee Corley.

Belinda is survived by 4 children, Le Argoe, North, SC, Ashley Whitaker, West Columbia, SC, Cary Whitaker, West Columbia, and SC, Jenny DeLuca, Gallipolis, OH, 2 sisters, Carol Clarke and Judy Ware, and 7 Grandchildren Faith Johnson, William Whitaker Jr., Chase Whitaker, Hunter Whitaker, Kayden Whitaker, Angel DeLuca, and Jackson DeLuca.

A celebration of life will be held for friends and family at a later date and will be announced on Belinda’s Facebook Page.
