In Memory of Anthony Joseph Margiotta, Jr. May 14, 1954 - November 25, 2020 (age 66)

Anthony J. Margiotta, Jr. (Tony) of Gilbert SC was born in Charleston, SC on May 14, 1954, to the late Anthony J. Margiotta, Sr. and Ethel Williams Margiotta.

Tony graduated from Middleton High School in Charleston SC. He played saxophone in the band. Tony was a disabled veteran, having served six years in the U.S. Army which took him on one tour to Germany and one tour to Turkey. Tony received a degree in Horticulture and had a talent and great love of growing plants and flowers.

He was pre-deceased by his wife, Robin R. Margiotta.

Tony is survived by his son, Danny Robertson, (Erin) two granddaughters; Veronica and June of Virginia Beach VA,  Mother, Ethel W. Margiotta of Charleston SC, three sisters; Christine A. Margiotta of West Columbia SC, Bonnie L. Margiotta-Baugher (Greg) and Deana M. Margiotta of Charleston SC, a nephew, Nicolas C. Margiotta, and a niece, Teresa R. Rentz, and five great nieces. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and numerous cousins. Not to forget his fur babies, Buddy and Baby Girl, two precious kitties who are really missing Daddy. Tony will be loved and missed forever. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Charleston SC (Services to be announced at a later date) In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your local no-kill animal rescue and advocacy organization.
