Obituary: Mrs. Angalese Washington Davis surrounded by loving family and friends entered into eternal rest at Lexington Medical Center of Lexington, South Carolina on Friday May 19, 2017. She was born was born July 16, 1977 in Williamsburg County, to Mr. Eugene Washington and the late Daisy A. Washington. Angalese was known by those who loved and cared for her as "Lese". Lese was educated in the Williamsburg County School System, graduating from Kingstree Senior High School, class of 1995. She also graduated from Morris College in 2000with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. She was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church, in Nesmith SC where she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. Later she joined New Beginnings Baptist Church, Hopkins, SC. Angalese was employed by Wateree Community Action Agency as Assistant Coordinator for Richland County for several years. At the time of her death she was employed with Gleams as a Case Manager. She was the President of the Packers and Wolfpack football organization under the Pop Warner Little Scholars League. From August to November you could find her on the football field making sure everything was in order for the football players and cheerleaders. She enjoyed sports very much and was a die-hard NFL New York Giants fan. Angelese was preceded in death by her mother Daisy A. Washington, brother Daniel "Chris" Washington, both maternal and paternal grandparents and mother and law Thelma Davis. August 2, 2002 Angalese married her college sweetheart, Mark Davis Sr. This union was blessed with two loving sons; Mark D. Davis and Adrian E. Davis. Services: Funeral Service for Mrs.Angalese Washington Davis will be held 12:00 pm, Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at Bibleway Church of Atlas Road. Interment to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4 to 8 pm at the JP Holley Funeral Home Columbia Chapel.
